I'm pretty sure bids will go higher.

AKM2k5 Apr 25, 2004 05:19 PM

i think they buy now price might be a typo...

Ammi Apr 25, 2004 05:22 PM

Maybe but maybe not. Buy it now option dissapears when initial bid is placed.

GeSeKeE19- Apr 25, 2004 05:39 PM

Thats Titaniummax or something like that...he is on the org though

AKM2k5 Apr 25, 2004 06:10 PM

10k is damn cheap for that maxima... maybe hes moving or really needs to get rid of it.... maybe hes getting a divorce and he doesnt want his wife to have it... theres gotta be some reason its cheap!

Ammi Apr 25, 2004 06:16 PM

It is not going to sell at $10k. Wait few more days and price will be lot higher than $10k

scopium Apr 25, 2004 06:29 PM

as we all know.. people wait till the last minute to bid.. so the last 10 min of the auction is gonna be a bidding frensy

This is John's max. His site is at http://www.cardomain.com/id/limited03

I've emailed him as a heads up. It appears this is fraud. Someone tried scamming ppl with pics of my car a few months back. Thankfully, the org hammered the guy and he pulled the auction.

Looks like time we do this again.

I don't think Titanium had those ugly tails. :barf:

Edit: Holy sh*t. And eBay sellers continue to reach a lower low.

housecor Apr 25, 2004 07:18 PM

Crap, I can't find his email and I don't know his screenname. I'm hitting up his friends via PM.

I emailed him bunch of questions because I was interested.

So I'm guessing John is not selling his car?

I can't get ahold of John. His email isn't listed and I don't know his screen name on the org. I left a message in his guestbook.

Any ideas?

Ammi Apr 25, 2004 07:28 PM

Someone must know his Org name. But John could be selling his car???

I seriously doubt it. I'm thinking he'd know whether his car was an SE or GLE. :grinno:

Ammi Apr 25, 2004 07:46 PM

Seller responded to my email.

Seller's email address and name: Anne Fields <acfields@verizonmail.com>

I am selling the car so cheap because I recently moved to Italy and the car is here with me but is a US specs and it was manufactured for the US market but since I am in Italy and the car is here with me so it doesen't meets the emission standards here so I can't use it or sell it here so I must get rid of it, I am practicly giving it away but I have no other choise. Shipping and insurance of the car will be on me,no extra of hidden charges and the car has a clear US title so you will have no problem with registation. The car has never been in any accidents, no scratches, dents, flaws or any kind of damage, never smoked in.

Only answered 1 of my question. Avoided all my other questions including what his/her Org name was

5 spd Apr 25, 2004 08:36 PM

if you were selling a car, can you give out the VIn number?

Ammi Apr 25, 2004 08:41 PM

I asked her what her Org name was and she said "You must be mistaking or confusing the car..." Maybe it's me but do I smell scam???

Does she really expect buyer to send her a check overseas w/out even looking at the car in person?

Ammi Apr 26, 2004 07:38 AM

I asked her if she could take a close up picture of odometer (just in case she stole all those pictures) and she told me she couldn't because car is being prepped, ready to be shipped.

She also mentioned I could send money through Western Union and if I wasn't happy with the car, I could return it to her within 7 days all the way to Italy. Yea after she dissapears w/ my money and no car.

maximo-SE Apr 26, 2004 07:46 AM

if you are selling your car, VIN is essential to let the potential bidders check up on your car on carfax. But for someone to stoop this low to use an .org members car to scam people... thats just f*cked up. I would bi*ch slap whoever does that. Like seriously b*itch slap him.

Bluesbrekr Apr 26, 2004 10:53 AM

The auction has been removed.....

PearlWhtMaX2000 Apr 26, 2004 11:04 AM

i cant see that page.

Ammi Apr 26, 2004 11:20 AM

Seems like it has been removed. This lady is cracking me up. She won't stop emailing me and keep insisting I use Western Union to send her $10k+ dollars. She said to make me feel better and more secure, she suggested me paying someone else in Italy and then that person will pay her. She needs some major biach :slap:

PearlWhtMaX2000 Apr 26, 2004 11:51 AM

lol Thats mad funny.
