Anyone tow a 15'+ fiberglass boat with their max?

I know the engine is up for the task, not sure about the trans / frame. Just a little worried about the max's frame and suspension. I think the trans would be ok in 3rd (i'm an auto). Thought I'd ask this question before attempting. The boat is about 1500lbs I'd estimate. Thx for any input. BTW, I have a 2k3 max.

I'd be more worried about the brakes overheating. The Max is a unibody and doesn't have a frame. I'm not sure how it would be mounted but I guess if you can get a hitch for a Z06 they make one for a Maxima also.

Last I looked the Maxima only has class 1 hitches that can be installed on them. I believe thats 1500lbs MAX...that includes trailer and boat. there are several manufacturers of hitches for tha maxima. I had purchased 1 before but took it back because i had to drill holes in my trunk to install it and i didnt think it would look good.

it mounts to the spare tire well in your trunk....I have since seen better looking hitc hes and am considering getting one :D

but a 1500lb boat is pushing it.
