2000 windows won't rolldown w/ remote
 

A friend of mine at work just bought a 2000 and his windows won't rolldown with the remote. My 98 does, my parents 03 does, my brother-in-laws 02 dies, shouldn't his. His remote does look different than the ones I've seen before. It says Nissan but looks different than both my 98 and the one I always see with later model 5th gens. It looks like a remote from a 00-03 sentra. Is it possibly the remote. It shouldn't make a difference. If it is getting a constant unlock signal, it should work right?

Any feedback would be great.

2000's dont have that function, unfourtunately.

OK, I think I answered my question and feel like a newbie all at the same time. I am a newbie in the 5th gen fourm. I spend all my time in the 4th. It looks like, from downloading user manuals, that 00 and 01's don't have the rolldown feature. The horn notification on lock option was added but the wondow rolldown was lost. Then in 02 Max owners got the benefit of both horn option and window rolldown. Am I correct in this assumption? 95-99 rolldown, 00-01 horn beep, 02-03 both.

Yea We get the weaker engine, sh!tty tranny , NO hids and no remote window.
