Maxima abusive video =(
 

I believe this Maxima is in Oman. The stying is in between a Maxima and a I35. Must be a late model as it appears to have hid's. I feel sorry for that transmission! I am hosting this in my yahoo briefcase. Sorry if it doesn't work for some of you. The clip can also be seen at www.oman-hp.com Their video section appears to be down at the moment but they have some crazy video's in their video section. Maxima's seem to kick alot of car's arse's over there.

YEah Oman is teh neighboring country. They must sell more maximas in the UAE than in any other country. There are thousands here. It is not uncommon to see 3, 4 or 5 at one traffic light. HTey have a reputation for being very fast cars despite only coming with the VQ30 engine. Most insurance companies won't insure maximas here as too many young guys have smashed them up. On the highway everyone drives maximas fast. I have easily gone 148 mph and i know that it can go faster. It makes me think that our cars have different ECUs than the american spec cars because there seems to be no end to how fast they can go. One guy I know managed to get his maxima to go 250 kph (155) without modifications. Who knows. I have driven in spurts at 148 mph without problem at all. Oh by the way you can get a maxima her brand new for about $15500 so they are a great bang for the buck. I picked up mine with about 13000 miles on the clock and it was 8 onths old for under $12000. It is a 2003 model.

Old video. I saw the same one posted up here at least a year ago.

A really insane video is the one in Mischief where these guys took a rental Maxima (I think it was a 2K2) on a dirt road and way WAY above the speed limit and it looked like they got air. Eventually they got stuck and there was automatic transmission fluid POURING out of the car. Man, they ****ed the transmission on that car for sure. I feel sorry for whoever bought that former rental.
