Please say I don't need a new clutch...
 

My car used to make a weird noise (very hard to describe...sounds like metal kinda crushing together or grinding i guess) when i accelerated pretty much in any gear...actually it pretty much sounds like the sound the car makes if you try to start it in 3rd gear (i have a 5 spd) or are simply in too high of a gear at the time...anyways it makes it a lot more now and it's not just when the car is cold so my only guess is it's a clutch problem but I also have no idea what I'm talking about so PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

man, trust me, you should be bagging us to say you need a new clutch and not a new tranny
