Looks great. Now what you have to do is get 18' 5-spoke rims and get rid of those ugly 16' ones. :P

What is the nite shades mod? I don't see smoked corners.

it looks like he used nite shades on his rear lights, spoiler light, and rear side markers. someone please confirm.

my phone is an LG vx6000. AWSOME PHONE. Got it for $60 after rebates. Great picture quality 640 x 480. with zoom capability @ lower resolution.

i used nite shades on the taillights. I have a 2000 GLE, where the lights are ALL RED in the back. I used nite shades to paint the taillights and make them look like the SE lights. If the sun is directly shining on the lights, it has a drk reddish tint glaze to it which i like alot. Spoiler light...i replaced it due to water going into the LED assembly, its not stock but it looks like the same. not bad for $40 shipped.

-I need new rotors/brakes. all 4 sets.
-I need 6 new ignition coils.
-Looking to get new tires by the end of summer.

As you can see, i have alot of things to repair. I would love to put new rims on but i will have to wait. Any cheap mods anyone can reccommend.

I am thinking about struts or sway bar. I heard the handling is improved significantly and its not that expensive. Any info on that (parts/price/installation) i would greatly appreciate it.

Go to a radioshack and pick up a cable. Don't buy the $45 software they say is required for the cable to operate. Just search Bitpim and download the latest open source software. great substitute for a digi cam. WORKS GREAT!

I have the same phone, didn't know the picture quality would be so great; I haven't uploaded any pics yet

I just can't help but defend the comment about the "ugly 16in 5 spokes". I think that the 5 spokes look great. I like them better on the GLE versus the SE. The 5 spokes had an influence on my choice for the GLE over the SE.

I wish i had money to buy new rims. But alas...i'm just a poor student trying to earn a living.

SPENDING ON MAX soon:

-6 ignition coils
-4 brembo cross drilled rotors + 4 raybesto's pads
-4 new tires within the next couple months.

as you can see...that adds up.

Can i get any nice rims for under 500 other than stocks ones.
Nothing too flashy. i like my car to be subtle yet aggressive.

First of all, the car looks good - I love the tint (wish we could go that dark here in Va.)

Secondly ........perhaps you want to try a little experiment before you replace your coils, might save you a couple hundred $$?

What I theorize is that the correct hypergrounding setup (including the engine block components) could possibly improve the electrical flow through the coils, thus reducing or eliminating what we often call "bad coils"....

I thought I had 1 bad coil and now that I hypergrounded everything, whatever the problem was is completely gone....

So......you could try this "mod", a do-it-yourself hyperground would cost around $25, and see if it precludes you having to get new coils. Worst case, you spend $25. Best case, you save several hundred....

since you're gonna replace the coils anyway, you're a perfect candidate for this, if you're willing to put forth an afternoon of effort and a few bucks...

anyhow, if you wanna try - check out my homepage on page 16 I have full instructions on how to do it.

just throwing a thought out there....
