Doesn't cover the DDE connectors like I was hoping but it does look pretty sharp. Daytime pics to come...

looks mean, i love it. i wish i had 5.5 gen hids so i could get DDEs.

WildmanAL Jun 17, 2004 09:20 PM

Yeah a little larger and they would have covered the wires, but it's close enough. Looks awesome.

limsandy Jun 17, 2004 09:28 PM

Time for better pictures. :) Hey, at least I know you got my package.

nice rims :D ......

Triple8Sol Jun 17, 2004 09:59 PM

Awwww....you beat me to it! I just picked up my set today. Looks nice!

If we had made them go lower, we were worried about it affecting the light output. As it is right now, it doesn't interfere with your beams.

Thanks for the input guys.
I'm very satisfied with the product. Thanks Limsandy & 888Sol & LCT for hooking it up.

Triple8Sol Jun 17, 2004 10:10 PM

Awesome...that's great to hear. Now it's a race to see which one between us can post daytime pics 1st. ;)

It's a no contest. Your :007: 19" wheels will bog you down.

looks nice..what did you use to clear your turns? they look frosted!!

2k3TitaniumSe Jun 18, 2004 07:29 AM

Looks great. The eyelids are almost perfect. And those clear turnsignals are frosted.

WildmanAL Jun 18, 2004 09:14 AM

Where them pics guys. Triple8Sol I'm one step closer to actually getting these. I got my kit painted today, ordering DDEs Monday, then probably two weeks from then I'll order some eyelids.

looslip Jun 18, 2004 09:30 AM

can you get these for 2001s? how much and where??? the eyelids i mean

Triple8Sol Jun 18, 2004 11:15 AM

www.LeftCoastTuning.com for 2000-2003's that have the 02-03 HID headlights installed :)

looslip: Dang it...you beat me. I gotta go wash the car 1st before I post my pics!

ChiggaVQ35 Jun 18, 2004 12:16 PM

I just wish the eyelids came down on the headlight a tad further, so it would follow the line of the hood a bit closer

ZIPPIN Jun 18, 2004 01:11 PM

where did you get the frosted lens??

looslip Jun 18, 2004 01:28 PM

I bought it off Lithiumax who got it from TAP plastics I believe.

was it pre-cut?

Triple8Sol Jun 18, 2004 07:37 PM

Hey is TAP plastics a national company? I swear I saw one when I was driving around an industrial area the other day...

looslip Jun 18, 2004 10:16 PM

Yes they cut it for you. I don't know the diameter but you can measure that out. As for thickness, it seemed a bit less than a centimeter. Even then it was kinda too thick so maybe go 3/4cm.
I'm not sure if they're national but their headquarters are in CA. You can call them and they'll ship it out to you.
