cant search...2k4 hid's into 2k maxima..?
i get some error whenever i search
i hear the 2k3/2k2 hid's are basically bolt-on but are the 2k4 hid's harder? would it be a full out retro fit? thanks |
The 2k2-3 HIDs can go right in, they are pretty much the same size as the 2k1-2 headlilghts, though you have to put in a new wiring harness.
As far as the 2k4 lights, I tend to doubt it...the 2k4 lights are a completely different size and shape. You would pretty much have to put on the entire front end of a 2k4 max to put their lights in..... |
1. you get an error cause you have to be a donating member to search.
2. there is NO way you can use the 04 headlights. thats just common sense. have you not seen one??? http://www.nissanusa.com/m/cma/i/4ma..._gal_big05.jpg 3. dont change the whole front end. the 04 front end is the nastiest part |
if you are talking about the inside of the 2k4 maxima headlights, im sure it can be done - just a lot of time and retrofitting. BTW,with retrofitting and how much free time you have, you better have an extra pair of headlights. I heard of people putting in Audi TT projectors in headlights (different types of cars) and taking a month to complete the project.

If you're trying to do a retrofit, read every post you can at hidforum.com... The 5th gen housings are pretty big, so I bet you could fit a hella bi-xenon in there without too much trouble. People who know what they're doing can complete a retrofit in a day or two.
