!!Help!! Glove box light won't work!

Hey guys, I need help figuring out why my glove compartment light won't work.

I just got a new bulb from Dave B. figuring it was burnt out, but the new one won't light either. I'm thinking its a fuse, but can't figure out which one it is.

Maxima experts please help.

probably there isn't a fuse just for that light. Have you checked to see if the switch is stuck/broken? If you replaced the bulb, then the switch is probably bad.

Doesn't the glove box light only come on if your headlights are on?

um...that would be the light that comes on when you open the glove box.

yeah, I was thinking that too. Where is the switch though? is it on the compartment or in the dash? I probably did something to it when I took it apart to replace the in-cabin microfilters.

Yeah, I used to think my light was burned out until somebody told me this.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I have no clue.

I had to detach the wire to the light when i did my microfilter...you sure you didn't do it and forget to re-attach it?

that'd be pretty sad if I did that...no, I re-attached it into the housing. I guess I can take it to the dealer since its still under warranty, but you know how those guys are :tard:

oh man....now that you mention it....my light hasn't worked since the dealer changed my cabin filter. That was several months ago.....do you think they might fix it? I guess thats hard to say, based on what I hear about Nissan service. Maybe a good time to test my local dealer??
