Car doesn't seem to be as fast, what could it be?
 

i just got my 00 se about 2 months and sometimes i feel my car doesn't run as good as it should....it has 46k and it's auto, only performance mod is a cattman y-pipe and lower suspension...i have no cel either so don't think it's the coil or maf...i always use premium gas...so what could it be?

advice: change the fuel filter, then use some SeaFoam in the fuel tank and 1/3rd bottle through a suitable vacuum hose per the directions. See how it goes from there... I suggest doing the fuel filter before using any cleaners in the fuel tank though.

any other suggestion? i was thinking of cleaning my throttle body to see if that helps out...i probably won't tune up the car until it hits around 55k or so...

you can do that but I doubt it'll help much for open-throttle acceleration.

Spark plugs? oil change? Get someone to check out ur engine.. :gotme:
