Makes me want to buy some, since we have the same color....

Epacy Sep 3, 2004 11:16 AM

Yes, very nice. I am sporting those as well.

2k1seae Sep 3, 2004 11:24 AM

I really like those wheels. They look good on your Max. They look good on any Max I've seen them on. Your Max looks good.

philthepain Sep 3, 2004 12:00 PM

What can I say....Bling Bling !
(In a good way) ; )

2k3blk6spd Sep 3, 2004 12:04 PM

Those look great, and nice drop too.

Melvin_03SE Sep 3, 2004 12:40 PM

Nice!

I've read a couple of people say that 245's are too wide for the front. Have you noticed any rubbing issues?

Looks freakin' sweet, though!!

sleotta Sep 3, 2004 01:02 PM

sweet wheels... im looking for something similar

sarmstrong Sep 3, 2004 01:25 PM

Looks awesome....best place to get those?

Mr. Peabody Sep 3, 2004 01:50 PM

Those wheels look nice
but Hamy, your's are the nicest ones that I've ever seen on a Black Max. I'd like to get a set for my Max.

Mr. Peabody

MaximaDisciple Sep 3, 2004 02:17 PM

Looks good! Almost exactly like mine.

IgS Sep 3, 2004 02:38 PM

Thanks guys. The 245's are fine for the front, no rubbing at all, one thing is i might get 235's toyos for the front because they are much lighter, cause right now my car is a lot slower and im sure its because of the tires.

Best place to get the wheels if you want cheap is probably ebay, if new i dont think anywhere else besides tirerack.

And no matter what anyone says about how many of them there are, they still look orgasmic on ANY maxima with ANY mods.

WildmanAL Sep 3, 2004 03:21 PM

RAZORFISH228 Sep 3, 2004 03:49 PM

Nice job. Now you can start looking for a body kit.

harmbone2k2 Sep 3, 2004 03:56 PM

IgS: Where did you buy your rims? My tires are completely gone and I'm probably going to buy some rims and tires! I live ~5-10 minutes from you in Palatine off of Dundee and Quentin! How is the ride on the new rims?

Snolife Sep 3, 2004 04:22 PM

I have the same rims, just love them to death.

IgS Sep 3, 2004 04:34 PM

o thats cool, well i got them through ebay, had a big problem cause UPS lost one of them and it took them 2 weeks to find the wheel, ....painful process.

The ride is great, very comfortable and the Car handles crazy, ....at the end of 53, the lake cook exit, where you have to exit right in order to go on lake cook to arlington heights road, i take that exit at 70 and no problem, little sqweel. (if you know what im talking about) and thats on stock struts and progress springs, im sure i can go faster when i get new illuminas....

xUltra Sep 3, 2004 04:52 PM

Yeah I know exactly what your talking about heh :P Are you using seperate Winter tires? Because the stock tires I have right now are completely dead and won't last. So if I get rims and tires... can I use them during the Chicago winter? :O I can, but would rather not buy winter wheels, what do you think?

xUltra Sep 3, 2004 04:54 PM

oh, and you like the 18's or would you go bigger? Heard 19+ ride gets kinda ****ty...

2k3TitaniumSe Sep 3, 2004 05:20 PM

Looks great but should've went with 19s.

"19 inches strong"

NisMo-Max Sep 3, 2004 05:22 PM

I Agree Looks Good, What Kind Of Drop Is That

I know exactly where you are talking about. I've laid more than enough smoke on 355/290/53.

housecor Sep 3, 2004 11:31 PM

Rims look fantastic. Excellent stance with the drop too. I swear, these Evo's just never get old with me.

Triple8Sol Sep 4, 2004 08:13 AM

Looks great...although at first I did think this was an old Igor thread revived...

ICELANDIC MAX Sep 4, 2004 08:20 AM

sweet ride

IgS Sep 4, 2004 10:15 AM

heh, yea, i think he has the exact same car as me (2k2 6 speed in sunlit sand, only his is leather and he put the wheels on b4 i did, but he also has a kit on so his looks different.) but i couldnt resist buying those wheels and in fufture im going to get the classic stillen lip, not the Maxx tuning one, also will get DDE's and will try and make custom eyelids....:D
