Car won't start. Need 2nd opinion on diagnosis.

I just got my car back Tuesday from the body shop. When I first picked it up, I noticed it took an extra second to start. I didn't think anything of it because I'm sure it sat for a few days. But today when I went to start it it wouldn't start. It wouldn't even crank. I tapped the starter with a flashlight and it started kinda slow but it started. I stopped one more time before going home and it wouldn't start. Sometimes it would crank but a weak crank, and then nothing except a click. I'm pretty sure it's the starter but I just want to make sure before I swap it out. Is there a write-up on changing the starter out?
And if that wasn't bad enough, I had to get the car towed 1/2 mile to my house. It was a flat bed trailer and pulling my car up the tailpipe scraper pretty good on the cement. Then dropping it off at my house I sat there lifting up on the rear to try and get the tailpipe and bumper higher so it wouldn't get too f@cked up. In the process My rear valence which I just installed yesterday cracked on the side where it mounts. Is it possible to epoxy the pieces together somehow? Or what is recommended?
