Looky like you got big black donuts on the car.

Tips:
Sell your wheels and buy 18's.
Remove pin stripe
Paint calipers black or silver with Nissan lettering on the side.

Another thing that might help is tire gloss on the rubber. This will hide the "largeness" of the tires.

looks nice. lose the stripe, and smoke your corners.

Looks great, keep the car the way you like it.

Nice drop but the car needs bigger rims.

THANK YOU !

I never realized the pinstripes were so offensive - they came on the car from the dealer and never really bothered me much. Actually it kinda breaks up the "darkness" of the car, what with the dark color, tinted windows and gunmetal wheels...

And for those that suggest larger rims, I'm pretty much over the "big wheel" look. I used to run chrome 18" Konig Monsoons on my first Miata, and yeah it looked awesome but man you knew the weight was there. I think the 17s I have on my Miata now are too big and too heavy. I'm considering some light 15s for that car in fact.
On the Maxima, I bought the wheels I have now because I love the look of them, but I realize they're not the lightest thing available - if I went to 18s I'd still want the same wheel, so all I'd really gain is still MORE weight. I don't see the point to that :(

I do like the idea of smoking the clears, though  :)

I actually like the red calipers... what kinda paint did you use? Did you use any clear coat? I like your rims too... but I'd get em in 18s.

I gotta say that I agree with everyone else on the pinstripe... I think there's enough silver trim coming from the rims and from the windows... in addition to the corners, you might also wanna shave the butt, just leaving the Nissan emblem... looks cleaner...

dont listen to these guys your car looks H O T with the pinstripe, cuz it goes with the lip on the rims and the crome window trim..it all flows together to me..... N I C E C A R

It's red 500-degree "High Heat" ceramic engine paint (spray). I masked off all around the rotors and suspension and laid on 2 coats (a little dry time in between). No clear coat, but they came out very slick, hard and shiny

Yeah, I would like to have no badges at all except for a "3.5 SE" emblem (from an Altima).

Thanks... I've been wanting to paint my calipers red or black.... just haven't had the time... and esp after recently painting my house... the thought of masking/taping stuff makes me wanna puke.... but anyways....

Never thought of that... but I think that'd look good... I took everything off my rear and am thinking of replacing the grille in the front with nothing but just black mesh...

Yeah, that pinstripe has got to go...it stands out too much on the dark car so all you see is the pinstripe other than that your Max looks good.
