Some one please help me! I'M LOSING IT!!!

About 2 weekends ago i attempted to add an amp to my factory system. Somehow i messed it up and now i have no radio or clock. I've quadruple checked all the fuses, checked with the FSM and even took apart the dash yesterday to see if i saw a blown fuse or unplugged wire. Well, needless to say everything was plugged in and no fuses were blown. I've had no radio for about 2 weeks and it's DRIVING ME CRAZY!!! I've posted before but have gotten no response, my last resort is going to be to take the car into the stealership to see what they tell me. I have no idea.

What do you guys think i should do?

I belive you shorted out the radio, and at the same time the clock got burned out also. I *think* it gets signal from the radio RDS, you haven't noticed when driving through diff time zones the clock will change its hour by itself. If you have warranty just bring it to the dealer and tell em to fix it. Just make sure they can't see you tampered with anything.

A fuse can be blown without appearing to be broken. I was tampering around with my amp/sub at one point and the exact same thing happened. No clock or radio lights. I found the fuse (it was obvious). Something to think about.

I switched all the fuses around and still nothing.
Now that this happened, i'm sure there is some type of connection between the clock and radio. Either they share the same power, aux or something else. Unfortunately, my warranty expired....i'm at 43K. :(

i burned out my HU on my old car when the B wire slipped out of the terminal and hit the chasis of the amp...bye bye amp, HU, and alternator.

just goto bestbuy er somewhere an get a nice $200 cd player or $120

don't take it to the dealer. I know my dealer just sends the car with HU problems to an audio shop. skip that and go straight to the audio shop yourself and save some money and possibly get it done in one day too.

they charge the same labor for the HU. the audio shop prob charge a flat rate for a diagnostic check.

good luck....
