clock doesn't work on 2002 max

My dads 2002 maxima clock hasnt work at all since we bought the car. Everything else seems to be ok. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Check the fuse for the clock maybe? The light for the clock could have burned out too. Or could it be the 3rd gen curse of the clock coming to haunt us.

check fuse, it that doesnt fix it pry the clock out maybe a wire came loose or got damaged unlikely but possible

I had the same problem...but the fuse was missing. You can tell if the fuse is the problem by seeing if your trip and mpg are resetting after you turn off your car. The radio might reset too... I cant remember if it did or not.

I have the same problem where my clock does not work and the trip and mpg reset itself with every start.. Only thing is there is no label in any of the fuse boxes for the clock fuse.. Does anybody know if there is such thing as a clock fuse or where it might be located? Thanks

Haven't had my car long enough to need to mess with the fuses yet, but there should be a diagram in the owners manual if it's not on the backside of the panel.

I don't have an owners manual either :(

But I have an FSM:

So I would check positions 1, and 12, just to see if they happen to be blown...

@Pearl93VE thanks for the advice.. I will try this early tomorrow am..

@Pearl93VE .. Could not wait til tomorrow.. Went to my garage at 2am and checked fuse #1 and #12 .. Fuse#12 was the culprit .. Trip MPG and the automatic climate control pick up right where it left off before turning car off.. Thanks a ton.. Enjoy your weekend
