I would just like to see how eyelids look on a 5 gen preferably on 2000-2001 headlights. 5.5 gens feel free to post pics as well.

No, sadly they don't. I was fortunate enough to get one of the first sets they made, though. IMO, they are still the best looking eyelids for the 2k2-2k3.

I got to say. I think the eyelids look OK, but I don't really see the need. I don't think they are that great of a mod.

i also bought those cf eyelids in the original group buy from left coast tuning. one came chipped and then the clearcoat proceded to smudge and form a white layer over the cf. the other eyelid flew off on the highway because it was shaped wrong and fit terribly. i e-mailed left coast tuning countless times and either got no response or was told that it "wasn't their problem." so now i'm back to not having eyelids. just thought you might like to know before you drop money on eyelids.

I don't know if I should talk about how I and another ORG member acquired the eyelids from LCT...I'll have to ask him first since the purchase went through him.

If you have a legitimate complaint with a vendor, please PM the vendor if you cannot Email them. Also, there is a forum to discuss these types of issues. These types of threads do not belong in the generational forums.

There are urethane and carbon fiber eyelids for 2K-2K1 at www.autoaccessorystore.com. Urethane are $59 and Carbon Fiber are $79. I'm looking at getting some for Christmas. Food for thought.

I have a pair from them. They look horrible. They don't cover up the turn signal. Who the f*ck wants a half-assed eyelid? Seriously. Bleh!

You absolutely didn't buy anything from LeftCoast Tuning. Since there's only 2 of us that run this company, it's pretty easy to verify. Please don't attach our name to some other product you bought. Thanks.

I didn't buy some other product. I bought eyelids that look absolutely idetical to the ones you used to sell. And don't throw some hissy tangent, because I quickly clarified that it was likely purchased outside of LCT.

I'm waiting for my friend (also a fellow org member) to get back home so I can ask him the web address and phone number he called for the order.

No "hissy tangent" here. I just need to make it absolutely 100% crystal clear to EVERYONE that you bought NOTHING directly from LeftCoast Tuning, LLC. No business wants their name associated with a product that they did not sell, or have someone claim they did business, when in fact they did not. This is the 1st time you clearly said anything to that effect. I think it's clear enough now, so let it end here.

1st time? No, I won't end it here. Because I said: "I wasn't the one who placed the order, but I don't think it was ordered through you or your guys."

I purchased a pair from LCT and didn't like the quality so I returned them and they immediately gave me a refund. No problems here!
