R.I.P. Grandma Dec 9, 2004 10:17 AM

looks 100 times better good job

silvermax2k2 Dec 9, 2004 10:38 AM

do you have any rubbing issues? it looks slammed. I have rubbing issues with my right wheel on factory rims, and h&r springs. :( i have no idea why. as per my bodykit comment, i was half joking... just because you are so low as it is, you will be hitting everything. lol. :)

Max20SE00 Dec 9, 2004 10:45 AM

No rubbing issues at all. I had some in the rear and I had to trim the clip that holds the rear bumper on the car a little bit. Then I had it slammed to 24 1/4 from ground to top of fender but it rubbed bad. So I raised it to 24 3/4 and rides great. Gone over big bumps/dips at high speeds and nothing.

steaLthyMax Dec 9, 2004 11:58 AM

makavelisk Dec 9, 2004 02:14 PM

that looks friggin sweet

silvermax2k2 Dec 9, 2004 02:20 PM

how is the ride with them? really stiff? I just keep on looking at them, and I am amazed they are not rubbing. what size rims? damn... makes me want to go lower. :( not for that amount of money though... :)

ddpack Dec 9, 2004 02:24 PM

:drool1: That looks sweet, I'd like to see some pictures of it from the rear.

icelandmaxima Dec 9, 2004 02:46 PM

Much better! Jics really make a major difference appearence wise! Looks awesome!

Max20SE00 Dec 9, 2004 07:15 PM

No, Bllmax95c the ride is surprisingly really nice. Almost no difference from stock. I was expecting really harsh. It made it a little harsher but handles friggin awesome. Much more aggressive. Worth every penny spent, trust me. I talked to people who have had both a JIC coilover setup and a spring/strut setup and they said night and day difference between the two. I would def. reccommend them as this was the best thing I have done to the car. Thanks all for comments, first time I have received positive comments from everyone. Keep comments coming! I have been thinking really long about a stillen aero kit and changing the rims to a silver instead of chrome. But I actually am happy with it as it stands right now, and my wallet needs a break for a little bit, especially after christmas.

ColdSHO Dec 9, 2004 07:30 PM

Igor911 Dec 9, 2004 07:52 PM

Where did you get those JIC's from? ;)

Max20SE00 Dec 9, 2004 08:59 PM

Oh yes, how could I forget. Thanks to Igor911 for providing me with the JIC's. Great guy on the org. Answered all my questions, and believe me I had a lot. Quick shipment, and an honest guy.

NiZMo1o1 Dec 9, 2004 09:07 PM

damn thats freaking sweet ... coldSHO nice blk maxi..now I can visually see how mines going to look after lowering it. Does anyone know if the D2s are just as low as the JICs?

ColdSHO Dec 9, 2004 09:37 PM

watch your y-pipe, in that pic, mine was baout 1-1/2 inch off the ground, but it was hangin lower than it is now. i raise the car up more now, i was too low, the reason i got coilovers was due to the evening out u could do, its rare for a set of springs to even out a car, esp if theres a system in it

Triple8Sol Dec 9, 2004 10:08 PM

100x better. Good decision.

white m3 guy Dec 9, 2004 11:21 PM

thats awsome. after thinging about going lower, I realized that i already have bottoming out problems as it is where i live, so it would be silly if i went any lower. I have never been to florida... are the roads perfect over there? they must be.. lol.

i must say that i am not a fan of chrome wheels. but they look hot with the car lowered. i say keep em

Max20SE00 Dec 11, 2004 12:13 PM

Thanks all for the comments! Yeah I am debating between keeping the chrome rims. Not sure yet. PITA to keep clean, and I think some 19" mille miglia evo5's would look nice on it. Also considering the Alessio F1's.

ColdSHO Dec 13, 2004 06:53 AM

try raising the rear up like 1/4 to 1/2 inch. it gives it a nice aggressive stance, thats how i have mine now, the way the wheel wells are shaped it made mine look like the back was sagging when it was nice and even.

I change my height and everyhting quite often tho, anyone know if thats bad to do? dont see why it woudl be, but u never know.

tothamax01 Dec 13, 2004 08:37 AM
