TSB's What do they indicate?
Hello all, failry new to the forum, and not much of a "car guy", but hey, im learnen' :D
What does a TSB entitle the owner to? Does that mean nissan should fix the problem?, for free?, only under warranty?, at my cost? I am guessing a TSB is similar to a recall, except we have to pay for it? Is this right?? Sorry for the newb Q's.... btw, this forum and the people on it are all very VERY helpful! Thanks! |

Thanks for the Hyperlink...thats good info
So Basically a tsb is a problem either by design or by wear and tear, that we have to pay to get fixed?? Nissan documents the problem, but doesn't accept any responsibility or liability for it??? Sounds about right.. |
If it's still under warranty, Nissan "should" pony up for the repair work.

unfortunately, if its not a major safety or mechanical issue, No car company will recall it. You can sometimes use a TSB to get the dealer to fix something that is not necisarrily a major isue, ie left side of the bose radio cutting out on 5.5 gens.
