Cruise control problem??

Got a cruise control malfunction. When I hit the "set" button on the cruise, the light just flashes for about three seconds then goes off, so no cruise control. Anyone ever had this problem, or any quick suggestions? maxima 2000 SE. Thanks!

i have a service manual at home and i will be home later i will look up the problem for you.....i will get back to the thread with what i find

Check both switches on the brake pedal. One of them is bad more than likely
