HID's in ebay angel eye projectors?
 

I have the black on blue angel eye projectors from ebay and it says not for HIDs. Has anyone installed HID's in them? If so, what kind??? Will they burn something up or melt the headlight cover or something? I'm not sure why you can't put HID's in. Is it you need to change the projector from another car and then install it? If you have, let me know is it worth it, does it give good light, does it look nicer, what brand to buy/not to buy.

Please let me know. I want to either put HIDs in or get the '02-'03 OEM lights. I know thats easier, but $600 for OEM is alot, considering no one would by mine.

I've done searches but haven't found anything. Plus, why can't I search on here, I have to donate first???

wcasskicker or something installed the xtec 6k kit i think. He says there is no glare. Phxblu installed valeos (the audi and bmw projectors) or was in the process of retrofitting and Dr.Roy installed MDX projectors (which are halogen) and put in some D2s bulbs. his cutoff and color band look pretty nice. he said he spent under $200 for everything IIRC

I think maybe because HID Capsules are longer than the h3 capsule even with an h3 base. the $600 HIDs on ebay are not OEM, they are aftermarket OEM style, which I think will work just fine.
