well i know that alot of u guys that have gxe's have the se tails.. but i just got done painting mine and its looks nice..!! i just saved like 200beans.. its was like 3$ for a can of Plasti-kote Car Color at pepboys.. for the the ppl that have black max's n want to do this get this color 7211 GM and it matches the paint really well.. But the tails look really nice.. its hard to tell that they were painted.. not bad.. but up really close u can.. but i don't think ppl will bother to come up that close to my car to look at the tails.. but for the ppl that have all red tails.. u should really think about doing this if u want to save $$$ and it only took me 2 hours.. i'm gonna post the pic's towmorrow.. and i'll list the how to's.. but if u think about its not that hard.. well i'll show u guys soon.. O and i will show pic's of the eye brows i made (1.50 it cost me) also.. that looks really nice to.. well i'll show them towmorrow..

Neat :) This is not something for me though. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I like the red tail lights better except for a black Maxima. It's nice to see people are successfully implementing inexpensive enhancements...We've had the painted tail lights and some great OSCAI's just in the last week. I'm waiting for someone to come up with an ooglie turbo :idea:

I was thinking about the same thing, paint my tail lights. I wanna get those peel-a-ble spray paint...but the problem is, how am I going those circular shapes for the brake light and backup light....

if I cut a piece of paper into those shapes and paint it over...I might peel the paint on the parts that I want it painted when I try to take the piece of paper off....

anyone?

how bout just take them to a body shop and have them paint it body color?
