DDE's Not Working
 

so I am on my second set of dde's. the first one had a ring that did not work and i just came back from checking the second set and there is again a ring that does not work. should i try connecting the brown wire to the negative terminal or will that not make a difference?

contact umnitza and see what he tells you, unfortunately there has been a bunch of failures from dde's most had the ballast go out, some had the ring. Either way contact him and see what he tells you.

yea i just did. have to take a picture and email it. this is so annoying. it took them about 3-4 weeks to send me the second set

It seems like I am hearing of alot of rings going out lately.

i'm relaly thinking about just sending it back and getting my money back. rather spend it on sumthing else now

This is sad. I wish Umnitza would fix these problems. Its not like its "simple" to do everything that has to be done to install these, so it would be nice if they guaranteed them to at least last a few years. Comeon Umnitza! :gotme:

I was thinking about DDEs in my new headlights. After hearing about these problems, i'd rather use that money towards HID fogs. :)

Yeah there really should be a warrenty or something on these products.

How long ago did you buy this set? I know they changed some things in their construction so "maybe" its been fixed.
