Congrats bro! I like the subtle mods you did to your car. My two year anniversary comes up in July and I should have about 60K on the clock. So far, so good, only routine maintenance and new tires. The only major problem I've run into is the BOSE acting up, but that will be replaced very soon.

Are you sure its 2 years to the day? Your signature says since June 6, 2003.

Do you guys have a home or do you sleep in your car? Both of you drive 3 and 2 times the national annual average (or more), respectively.

Teufelhunden May 5, 2005 08:21 PM

damn you do alot of driving, are you the original owner?
any problems we should know about? my 03 only has 28k...
and for some reason in your sig, it looks like your rear is sagging, compared to your old pic.

TheBigDu May 5, 2005 08:34 PM

Hey Jason,

When did you order the suspension? You didn't have that when I was down there, right?

Anyway, congrats on the anniversary. That is a LOT of mileage.

Just so you other guys know, he is the original owner, and the mileage is so high because he used to travel all around eastern PA for his job.

I think GBauer has 100,000+ miles on his car. Still, 85k is a shi*tload.

LOL....that would be from the 150+lbs of company crap in the trunk.
Like thebigdu said. I am the original owner. I bought it with 72 miles on it.
My old company I was driving over 1000+ miles a week for and hence why I got my maxima. They were paying me 0.25 a mile and I bought something for reliability and found this to best fit into my style. Nothing major wrong with the car yet. Other than wheel bearings at 60k and valve cover gasket at 72k. But I spent the extra $1k when I bought the car and everything has been covered under the 100k warranty.

My suspension came last week. I'm trying to figure out a time in my schedule when I can get it installed.

Your bearings went at 60k? What were the symptoms? And how much did it cost to replace (if your warranty hadn't covered it)?

Humming noise at highway speeds. Particulary loud at 68-72mph. I think it would have been over $300. Can't remember precisely though that was late last summer.
