new 5.5gen vent visors?????????

Hey guys, ive been seeing these window vent visors for the 5.5gen maxima that instead of adhering with double sided 3M tape, and covering the chrome stripping around the window, they go into the channel the window goes into. i asked my local accessories store about them and he advised against them because he said on some cars they interfere with the window closing fully and might come off on the hwy. i would like a first hand opinion from someone who has these and let me know if there having any problems. THANK YOU!

yes this is the website but i was wondering if anyone who has these has had any problems opening and closing their windows and has anyone had one fall out randomly while crusin down the hwy, im not gona spend $100 on these things if their gona become a speedbump for someone on the hwy,or if there gona mess up the window functioning normally. thank you for the heads up on that thread but it didn't answer the question I was looking for

i got em and there is no problem with window closing. i have for the 2nd time put new 3m tape on the channel to keep em tight but when you put the window down they do move around if you play with em. they are worth the $ if u dont like em pass em on to another max owner.... good luck.

I have the channel kind on my 2k2. I think that the channel kind look better than the cheesy stick on kind. They fit awesome in the front, but I didn't like how the backs fit. The backs would bow out (The ends would stay in, and the middle would pop out) at high speeds, or when at a carwash with a blow dryer. Some times a passenger in the rear would open the window for air and then the visor would slide down a little so when they tried to put the window up, it would get stuck. They popped right in and out, so it wasn't hard to fix, but it got aggravating. I just keep the fronts in now.

I have had them installed since the beginning of the year without any problems. If you have tints, I think the dark visors look better. I have driven at 120 with the windows down and they have not come off.

I've had mine for two years now with only one problem. The rear driver side window vent comes loose once in a while but has never fallen off. Oh, and sometimes dirt and sand get in between the visor and window so when you close the window, you hear an awful scraping sound. These problems can be handle easily so the product is very good overall.
