using hose clamps to stop muffler banging

I have a frankencar catback and am experiencingthe banging that everyone complains about. I recently got my hands on some hose clamps and i was wondering if i should tighten them onto the hangars till they're almost flush or if i should tighten thema lil more. My muffler hangs a lil low so i was curious as to whether or not i could tighten them up a lil to lift it up higher.

I have hose clamps on all 4 of the hangars (3 muffler, 1 on bpipe)....tighten and loosen them as needed...then push the muffler around with your hands to see if you can make it bang. It takes a little tweaking. A bit frustrating, but you'll get it.

Some people also put a rubber hangar between the pipe and where it goes over the axle - another place where banging can come from

Just tighten until it doesn't bang anymore.
