Ouch...can I ask you what PIAA fogs you had? I had my Super Plasma GT-X's for 1 yr and 9 months now and they still work great...I also bought them used off a member and who knows how long he used them for :nervous:

upstatemax Dec 15, 2005 05:02 PM

How old are they? If they are under a year you get replacements for free...

boondoxmax Dec 15, 2005 05:11 PM

thats why i am going back to stock. they may not match the hid but they last damn near forever...............screw piaa and all those aftermarket fog bulbs......garbage

I have the Extreme Whites.... they have going for more than 9 months.. but the point is....I think this my 7 set of PIAAs. I have a et brand new in the box, but I really don't want to put it. I will PM Unimitza and see how $$$ he wants.. I'm tires of spending money on this crap, or maybe I should go back to stock and screw the way it looks. The HID's looks great and the H3 were not a perfect match but look alike.

Thanks to all

Yeah, I have the Extreme Whites, too. I had mine about 8 months and still going strong. But, in my case, I don't run my fogs all the time when my headlights are on. I noticed these PIAA's run extremely hot, hence, I try to salvage the life out of them by not running them all the time.

Yellow caps with stock $2 bulbs all the way baby ;)

I feel your pain. After changing many SilverStars in my fogs, that burn out in less than a year, I had it enough and went with caps...

are there different hid fog kits from umnitza. which kelvin matches our hid's the best with his options provided? i'm about tired of the piaa's myself, never have i had both working at the same time for more than 1-2 months. this is ridiculous. time for hid fogs i guess........price ranges?

housecor Dec 16, 2005 08:31 AM

My PIAA Super Plasma's were a near perfect match. Too bad mine last only 13 months. Just over the warranty period. Greeeat. Back to stock for me.

HotshotVQ35 Dec 16, 2005 01:28 PM

I bought the 6000k H3 HID fog kit from maximabest in the GD section along with a pair of 6000k HID D2R bulbs.
