DDE's and cleared corners
Yeap, finally did this "mod" but I did it the cheap way, I just bought the finished product from one of the guys on the board, and gave him my headlights. Yeah, I'm lazy :hs:
during the day http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...a/DSC00702.jpg at night, just the parking light and DDE's http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...a/DSC00722.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...a/DSC00720.jpg at night, DDE's, HID's, and yellow fogs http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...a/DSC00726.jpg let me know what you think |
i like the yellow fogs. ive been wanting to do that for a while. it looks good.
|
I like the look......Are the yellow fogs the Lumin-x or the Lexus capsules??? I am guessing the capsules because they look like a deep yellow?? I am thinking about doing the capsules on my 01 because I have the Luminics in there now and they are OK....Also what did you use to take out the side markers without damaging your paint??? I tried with a cloth and screwdriver and pried towards the "middle" of the car like everyone says and can't get mine out. I purchased Polarg bulbs but can't install them until I figure out a good way to get these off..

what bulb did you use for the parking light?
|
get rid of the orange bulbs in the corners, other than that looks nice!
|
Your clear corner is slanted in the first pic. Hahaha......

To answer a few questions: the yellow fogs, that's just Lamin-X film, probably the easiest way to get a nice rich yellow color. The only "downside" to some people is that the fogs themselves have a yellow lense, but i actually like that look.
The bulbs in the parking light and turn signal are PIAAs. The clear corners, it was as easy as the owners manual makes it seem, just take a screwdriver, wrap it with a towel, and pry it out. I need to buy the Polarg bulbs for it (where does everyone get them, none of the stores around me have anything) And limsandy, what do you mean? |
