i dont know which Sooner was referring to, but the price on nextgears site is $110. i dont know if he meant that price was worth it, or under $100 or whatever, but even $110 doesnt seem unreasonable IMO...

yeah, lets hurry up and get someone to dyno this bi+ch!

i wanna slap this on along with other mods...btw, do you think tuning would be affected in anyway? cuz supposedly i heard AFR doesn't change according to temperature...like you could tune for 13.5 and it should stay relatively the same even if u were in 100 degree weather, than 60 degree weather....i'm just wondering, would i have to re-tune with this mod slapped on?

That what I was trying to ask earlier since I have a SAFCII, plus I want the TS ECU. When you get an answer, let me know.

I noticed in your previous post, You mentioned the L-spec ecu....but the $495 ECU is NOT the L-spec one....its actually the F-spec one....the L-spec costs $345 or something...

Anyway its almost pointless to get an F-spec...and use an S-AFCII to modify it...your nearly wasting your money if u ask me....so Don't bother with the $495 ecu...get the $345 one

^^^This is getting ridiculous. Somebody send me the gaskets, there are two dyno shops by my house and I will test and tune these to see if there are any gains.

Same here. I'm 6-speed so should run consistant dynos. Installing these would be no problem for me.

WOW Surprising that I got so reemed out about not getting Dyno results in a week up here, then when I did, everyone jumped on the bandwagon here with Nextgears Gaskets.....LOL at least my product has Dyno results here and I have actually met two fellow Orgers off of here to show them the Dyno's one to one and at least show them the spacer is on my car. Guess I am just still a newbie...LOL

What is the word on these thermoshield gaskets? Has anyone ordered them? Any progress? I would be interested in a few more ponies myself. Did sleeperi35 ever get dynos posted? His thread got locked. There is some serious hostility going down in here.....

He did finally post dyno results that showed gains but they were kind of shady. The AFR was different between the two runs. That was enough to account for the change in HP.

There really needs to be an independant dyno. I can show a gain by running with my AC on then running with it off if I really want to.

Once I complete my move I'd be willing to test either product.

BTW, if you can't find your PV Blaster it's because I have it.

his dyno results were real low

I mean 225whp with all those mods he listed and cams? and full AFC tuning...thats kind of on the weak side if u ask me...

I don't remember the numbers but I remember not being impressed by the dyno evidence.

I'm not saying he faked it but someone could make a dyno sheet saying their Nismo oil cap gave them a 20 HP gain.

If I saw independent results I'd be ordering that day. I think a lot of people would. The theory is sound and who ever provides proof will sell a lot of spacers.

LOL well lets see here. To straighten things out for those who don't remember correctly The 225WHP Dyno results sheet was with nothing but cams and the spacer in my car. I took everything off to show true HP gain from the spacer, less the cams (Obviously I was not paying someone to take my cams out and put them back in (it's also a very labor intensive job)
You weren't impressed Steven by a 10HP gain from one item that would cost about 150.00? If someone else could develop a product for that amount that gave me a true 10HP gain, I would buy it in a heartbeat. And NO anyone cannot "fake a dyno results sheet" Especially when there were people who know the person that works on my car#1, and have seen my car#2. Bottom line is this. I am getting these developed and tested by someone OTHER THAN MYSELF, it is just a **itch getting the materails to the person that I want to cut me some test ones. As soon as 5 test ones are complete, fellow orger Polo is going to get one to test. I have not posted an exact date for results to be posted, but I will tell you it will definitely be soon. I understand the skeptisism here, and appreciate it, but I remember everyone on my case to post results, then now switching their minds and telling me that I am lying...just because I am not a brand name yet, like Stillen or Cattman, doesn't mean that this product does not work. I have nothing to gain by lying to anyone here. Obviously I am not even taking orders for them.

Epacy, sorry I haven't matured. I figured I would ask where the dyno results were, since you ARE the head honcho of this post. AFR can definitely account for a 10HP gain also, but look at the chart closer for those guru's out there that know the AFR on these vehicles. I had no SAFC on the car either, wires plugged but harness disconnected.

My man... I hit you up about this so long ago and I never heard back from you. I am in BK like every weekend. If you really want to move this, you should hit me up and let me know something. I'll be a test subject by like the middle of next month if you want. I also have 5 3.5's in my group that will buy in a heartbeat. Hit me up. Next time we have a meet, you should come thru.
