Dunno if I like either....

It looks like $hit to me. But knowing our luck it's going to have a 6 speed with a 4 liter twin turbo v6 and be rear wheel drive!!! haha

Nissan's design has become more and more futuristic...the new Z, Skyline sedan, and altima are more boxey and edgey

I don't really like the way it looks but it does hint alot towards the way nissan is styling its new cars.

actually, i like it... just change them ***-ugly tail lamps and rims.

If the 2003 Max is going to look like the pic shown, yours truly will be a 2002 5th Gen SE owner. :D

It looks more like the VW Passat! In my opinion I would not be surprised to see it being Maxima, all they do is change or swope the badge from the "Opel to the Maxima". It has been done in some foreign countries.

I believe Opel is part of the General Motors group in Europe. Nissan is part of Renault of France. Opel and Renault (Nissan) would not share designs because they don't have the same parent company.

Anyway, the picture shown in the first post of this thread is fake. I've mentioned that earlier and it's been repeated.

If it wasn't fake, that would mean that it would have to be a hatchback, theres no trunk, and the C pillar is HUGE!!

well after seeing the new altima i dont see why the new Maxima wouldnt look a LITTLE similar to that car:p

Ugh... if it's gonna look like that, I got dibs on the first 3.5 engine and tranny on Ebay for my 4th gen.

I've seen these pics 8 months ago on newspaper and they were just the concept for the Altima. If you look closely, they look almost identical to the 2002 Altima.

not to me. altima looks much different to me, sleeker, and not as boxy.
