Installing Umnitza DDE's tommorrow
 

getting up in the early morning tommorrow to install the DDE's and clear the blinker lens...basically just looking for any tips/pointers on the baking the headlight and taking apart/puting back together process...wiring seems straightforward...got all necessary tools in advace, so im ready to go...have a friend helping me too...just a lil concerned about how to separate them effectively...housecor's page is great he just dint go into much detail about pulling apart and putting back together....thanx to all in advace (any help at all would be great)

I just got mine done, well i had boomer mcloud do it. I needa replace 2 rings now. :ugh: I haven't seen any1 else but me with the DDE's in RI. Looks like your next. I also had them paint the housings blk and clear the lens. Ever see a blk max with 20's around?

test all the rings first....seal up the ballast with high temp silicone type glue....hard wire all the pos and neg wires with shrink wrap....drill a hole for the ring wires instead of routing through the bulb cap.....seal that hole up after all is done AFTER you test them in the head light....those are the main mistakes that i ran into kinda...

Stylez4o1...saw a black 01 @ subway in Attleboro about 2 weeks ago w/20's but i didn't notice black housings, coulda been you but not sure

UPDATE: So I'm at the last Angel Eye ring and it snaps on me...wtf, have get another one from Umnitza, should be here next monday or tuesday, the other ones are operational and the clear lenses look mint

yeah im waiting for my rings too. I should get mine in the next couple days. I actually got the headlights done last week and i wasnt in attelboro last week. Where abouts are u in providence? I'm usually in the south side/west end area.
