Power Seat (Problem #1)
So this is my first post in god knows how long, probably a year, my new son  (3 Months Old) has pulled me away from my hobbies for a bit, but hey its worth it, now back to the business at hand.
So my drivers power seat has seemed to have lost part of its range of motion. The lower seat cushion can no longer raise or lower in the front half (towards steering wheel), it makes a horrible buzzing/grinding noise when I hit it. All other range of motion on the seat is fine. Anybody got any ideas on how to fix it? This is problem one on my list of like 5 - 8 things needed to bring back my Max's luster. The .Org never fails me. Good to be back. |
i've the same problem. one day it simply wouldn't work... whateverhappenedtoit.
but mine makes no sound. if yours grind, there could be something jammed in the teeth. take the seat out and look. i wish mine made noises, but it's dead. sucks |

I have absolutely the same problem, it grinds when lowering or raising the front part of the seat. I am going to the dealer tomorrow for them to take a look at it.

Its problems like these that make me want to disable the automatic seat mover upper thing right now before the power seat motor gets worn out from overuse...
