True but if you are going to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a swap, why not go RWD as well?

Depends on what kind (copper (30k), platinum(75k), and etc) preffered brand is NGK.

/\/\ like chopstix said, depends what you put in last Thanksgiving.

Your misfire might be the result of a dead coil pack, do you have a check engine light?

If they are bosch then they are platinum plugs, those should last you a while. Also sometimes if you have a bad coil it wont thow a code immediately.

I wouldn't put Bosch. Also, "last Thanksgiving" is very vague. Mileage is more important.

Holy mother of all that is holy and electrical. I think I would myself trying to get that ECU config in my car. Aside from that, something needs to be tweaked with that thing. To my horrific surprise (read: disappointment) the HR in the new Z gives a better, fatter power curve.

if you had great fab skills you could make a RWD max for not THAT much. obviously it would take forever in the driveway though and having a shop do it would cost the original asking price of the car...plus some

Do you think scanner will read any codes based on this?

What is a fair price to pay for an 02-03 full headlight conversion (ballasts, bulbs, housing, etc) for my 01?

I was interested in getting a new sound system put in my 01 GLE.. but from looking at the dash unit, putting anything else in seems like it wouldn't turn out to pretty.. I don't know much about sound systems for cars in general.. so i'm just curious of people who have replaced the bose and how well it turned out x_x

Front license plate bracket

Hello: I just bought an '02 Maxima from out of state. The car appears to have never had a license plate on the front before, but living in Ohio, I am required to have a front plate.

Is there a license plate bracket, specific to the '02 Maxima, that I need in order to mount a license plate? If so, where can I get that bracket.

Thanks!

The dealer should have the bracket, or you may find one available in the 5th gen for sale forum. I don't know if the front bumper is pre-drilled or not but if it isn't, you will have to drill two holes in it to attach the bracket.

Turbo in a 5.5 generation?

I own 02 Maxima SE. I was looking through previous threads and couldn't find anything as far as a turbo for it. I know there is probably nothing that is a straight bolt on. If they are out there, then about the tuning? Could you perhaps point toward the right direction?

Your in the newbie section!

The right direction would be to look at the stickies of the Supercharged/Turbocharged section, under the Advanced Performance section.

glove compartment rattle fix?

Looked through the FAQ's and the How-To's, and did a google search but couldnt find anything on a fix for the glove compartment rattle. Can anyone point me to a thread or give some advice on how to fix it. Its bugging the hell out of me.

Thanks.

the throws of the shifts are shorter which decreases the shift times

Well for a set of oem headlights you should expect to pay between 400 and 600 dollars then the wiring harness is gonna cost you around 30-45 buck or maybe cheaper. Then you can look up direction on how to wire it its pretty easy or when you get everything just pm me and i'll send you the how-to
