Switch to Leather Interior
Anyone switch thier 5th gen to leather using an aftermarket kit (Like Katzskins) any pics or feedback? Whered you buy it from? What price?
Can I install myself? (my mechanical ability is a 3 out of 10, katzkins says should be no problem) or recommend a pro install? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated or anyone in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) want a couple hundred bucks to switch seats of my grey fabric interior for thier grey leather (will pay around $500 - $750) Cheers |

Your joking right?
who would want these when they look like this? never mind the fact they havent been cleaned in 100 years I wouldn't give $5 for those seats http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...maparts004.jpg |
Woa., those are pretty beat up... I always thought going aftermarket with the leather might be best. Maybe some perforated leather... Something light though, the lighter the cooler.

beside looking in the cassified on the org your best bet would be ebay
heres an example.... they are in your price range and you would only have to bolt yours in and prolly sell your so it'd be cheaper lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bucke...38316106QQrdZ1 so keep lookin til you find gray ones! good luck |
DO NOT get katskinz. While the quality is good, it cannot compare to the quality found in the leather seats offered in the GD section. Check out the seats on HERE.
Their quality and customer service are simply unrivaled - you CANNOT find a better replacment for your OEM covers. |
i have full black leather interior for sale, i just got into a wreak and am thinking about parting everything out. pm me for for details.

when I bought my max I had the dealer put in aftermarket leather, it is great, however the only drawback to having it (or at least in my situation) is that the seat itself feels firmer/harder on your a** than the stock leather does. I have had people tell me that they like that aftermarket better than the stock leather.
the meatball that put it in stretched the passenger seat too tight, which caused part of the "bucket/bolster" to become flat. :banghead: (what do i care, i don't sit there, only when i have too much to drink) |

trigger005 - sorry that is way too far and black
misiek - sorry only want grey zheka - only want grey I have done some research and found that most dealers when you order form them use Katzkins. and that it is waaay nicer than OEM. leatherseats.com heard some bad things about them from others, and they ship via UPS which is brutal for Canadians ($60 item UPS charges $50 in fees) |

brutal eh?
hey maksima drop 2 0's from the price ($6), fix rips and tears, include shipping, plus you come up and install them, weekly cleaning, and leather conditioner every 6 months, offer 10 year warranty and you got a deal Is that dried blood on the seat portion? |
