It is pretty easy to replace them and it is cheap. Call the dealer ahead of time, most do not stock the bulb.
While you are in there, you night as well as replace them all. BTW, is this an Auto Climate Control, or standard? |
Its auto climate. Thanks for the advice. Little problems like this drive me nuts. Must be obsesive compulsive.

You could always do what i did and turn them into LEDs, as they are actually bulbs from the factory. Much cheaper (~$8 per at dealer vs. about 25cents for the LED setup) More time though.

I got mine for $4 a bulb from the dealer... LED's are also much more work and way to bright for me. I just happen to prefer the stock bulbs. :rollsmile |
Any write-up's (maybe MetalMaxima) for switching to leds on standard control?
|
and what size of leds are recommended and where to buy? radioshack or ebay? thanks.

Anybody have tips on how to get the climate control out to replace the bulbs??

Or this..
http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...&postcount=132 I just did this....it's not a total cakewalk if you're not experienced, but not too bad. The biggest PITA is all of the wiring harnesses plugged into the back of the console that need to be unplugged to get it out and then plugged back in. |
