Ayone know what it means when the following two MIL's come on at the same time?
mil's for my brakes and battery keep coming on at the same time.
They'll be on for maybe 15 minutes and then they'll go out. I don't feel any noticeable problems with my car either. In fact, she's running quite well. Anyone know what these two mil's going on and off intermittently means? |
Alternator is going out. I've been there, done that. Buy one now and just plan on replacing it tonight.

****e...
thanks man. |
Like GBauer says, it's most likely the alternator. I've had that happen to me on my last car, and got stranded ... she died within 15-20 minutes of showing the MIL's.
EDIT: I must've had my head in my -$$, I meant to type alternator - I had battery on the mind for some reason! |
it's not your battery, it's the alternator. When the alternator charge is insufficient, it triggers the two lights. replace...it's ton's of fun to do!

thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate it.
Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend! |
