If you have a I30/35 or maxima with 19's dropped with Tein S-Techs please let me know how it looks and if you have rub issues. Thanks!

that looks so nice, and rubbing issues?

whazzzzuup Nov 11, 2006 09:11 PM

It all depends on the wheel specs (width and offset) and tire size to prevent rubbing with a greater drop.

Weeble1 Nov 11, 2006 09:33 PM

yea, I'm not sure of the offset, but the with of the tires are 245 and 275. Tire size are 35s. don't think it will rub. opinions?

You will need to get the offset to know for sure.

MaxBoost925 Nov 12, 2006 01:52 AM

I'm on 19's and I'm lower than S-Tech.

245/35/19 with 40mm offset. It does rub once in a while when I'm turning.

What are you trying to make? A scraper?

why are you running staggered tires? trying to make it seem like you have a RWD car?

Weeble1 Nov 12, 2006 09:49 AM

nope not at all, I got the axis milano set up with tires for $400 bucks from a friend. couldn't pass it up. He had them on his supra and was selling the car.

The offset will make a big difference. I have 19x8.5" wheels with an offset of 38mm and 245/35/19 tires all around. I have also installed 15mm spacers at the rear and 5mm spacers up front. My suspension consists of Illumina struts and S_tech springs. I have no rubbing issues.

Weeble1 Nov 12, 2006 08:06 PM

cool thanks a lot

irish44j Nov 12, 2006 08:27 PM

just look at the back of the spokes on the wheels and it will say the offset.....

Weeble1 Nov 13, 2006 04:04 AM

alright, I'll do that when I get off work.

burnurass Nov 13, 2006 06:18 AM

KCMC82 has 19's with Stech's also...I believe he also does not have rubbing issues.

Weeble1 Nov 13, 2006 09:18 AM

that's good to hear.

Wow, that's amazing...how do you NOT have rubbing in the back? Did you recenter your beam? I put 15mm spacers on my rears and I rubbed on one side when turning sharply with a full tank of gas. :gotme:

I will recenter my beam in the spring.

I did not recenter the beam. I think my rear Stillen strut and sway bar help keep the car level when making sharp turns as well as a slightly stiffer setting on my Illuminas.
