2 questions..DRL's and rubbing
Hey..
I have 2 questions for you guys.. 1) Is there any way to disable your high beams as your DRL's? I was looking at my friends Audi the other day, and I much like the fogs as the drl's. It looks very good, and I'd do anything to be able to drive with just my fogs on..no highs as DRL's. 2) I have a chance to pick up some winter rubber..225/60/16 for very cheap..on steelies. Will those rub on a 5.5 gen? Thanks |
1) Rewire fog lights: http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/fog_rewire.html
To disable DRLs go to the fusebox inside the cabin and remove the fuse labelled "DTRL" 2) No. They wont rub on OEM suspention....are you lowered though? |
Nope, not lowered :D
Thanks for the info! |
bumping an old thread, I have a 2003 max, i looked at the in cabin fuse box, no DTRL fuse in there. any other method of doing this, or am i missing something.

I am thinking that the fuse was either a) repositioned in forthcoming models (2000> ) or b) is located in a different place in US spec models. I thought that US models didnt have DRLs though? correct me if im wrong because I thought DRLs were only mandated in Canada? |
you might have the auto option or the low beams on maybe
|
i do have auto headlights but i thought the fuse shuld still be there in the cabin.
