Where can i get a mass air flow sensor
Does anyone know where I could get a used Mass Air Flow sensor for a 2002 Maxima, the production date is August 2001. I could go to the dealer and drop 400 on a new one but if anyone knows where I could get a used one that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can get the newly updated one part # 22680-2Y001. You just have to do a small rewire if your car is a 2K2-2k3 model. Your MAF requires a small adjustment re-wire for the thermistor. Call up Dave B at South Point Nissan....1-888-254-6060. It should run you about $100.00 or less.

on 2002+ the maf cost over $400 just spend $100 for 01 maf and rewire it in you 02 it will work the same. and thats what most of the people here have done it. just to save $350!
by the way you will find few people here that can do the installation for you for a case of beer. I am getting mine done from a member here but i would rather pay good money and the beer.
EDIT: dont forget to reprogram the ECU.

getcoolparts.com has the 2002-2003 MAF for $160, genuine OEM part. Free shipping too. I bought many things from them and always had good experiences. They also kicked butt on the very similar MAF in my erstwhile BMW 540 (dealer wanted $450, getcoolparts had the same genuine Bosch part for $180). I'm thinking of buying the MAF to have as a spare before they run out of stock.
