Can I replace non-heated mirror with a heated one?
Lost my drivers side mirror to a deer a yesterday, and I need to replace the whole assembly. I have an 02 Max SE without heated mirrors. I have found a few replacements on car-part.com, but most that match my color code (grey lustre) are heated ones. Will the heated ones have the same plug as my non heated mirror, and if so will the power mirror still function correctly? I don't care about the heater function, I just want the normal operation and functionality of my power mirror......

the fuctionality would be the same but i dont think you will have the heated mirror if it didnt come with your car. There should be a way that you can splice wires to get the heated mirror option to work. try doing a search

It should be the same. There was a writeup recently of someone adding the heater to their mirrors and the only difference between the heated and non-heated was a separate electrical connector for the heater.

Yes, you can. the plug is the same. If you wanted heated mirrors, you'd have to install the heated mirror relay, then find a way to get power running to it.
I can't believe the prices they're charging for used parts! $125 for used...
