car won't start... Tranny swap...
 

i just did my tranny swap this weekend... now my car will crank but won't turn over.... i have a feeling its the crank shaft position sensor... but then again i don't know... any help?

i dont have the answer.. but i think some more info would be helpful to others?,.. 5 speed ? or did u put a 6 speed in.. were you auto before?,..and something to do with the clutch maybe?

true... heres some back ground info... its a 3.0 auto converted to a 5 speed manual... jus before anything was dropped/disconnected, i worked on the clutch pedal assembly and brake pedal assembly and i rewired the sucker for it to turn on using the clutch (neutral safety switch) after i was done i started up my car to see if it ran and it did i let it idle for about 2-5 minutes and i turned the car off.... disconnected the harnesses and dropped the tranny put the 5 speed up and alll the other good stuff (yes including the flywheel) but i did how ever notice that once everything was bolted up there were 2-4 harnesses unplugged... 1 on the tranny and maybe 2 or 3 off the cars wire harness.

i also noticed wen i started the car up that tach didn't move and my cel light was flashing as i was cranking the car over

kabir got his car started but battery is dead.....3 codes for auto tranny and 2 for crankshaft positiong sensor.....anyone got any ideas?
