Other FOB Hidden secrets?

Ok i recently found out that on the 2002-2003 maxs you can roll down your front windows by holding down the unlock button on the FOB. Does anyone know if you can roll them up with the FOB? thanks in advance if anyone knows.

Nope, but you can use the key to roll them up. Stick it in, turn and hold in turned position. Depending on whether you want them up or down, that would be the direction you 'turn'.

No you can't roll the windows up with the FOB, unless you buy the module from here:

Well it's been posted many times, so regardless most people know about it. It's in the owner's manual.

You can turn on and off the horn beep when locking your car with the fob, as well. Press and hold "lock" and "unlock" for several seconds and the lights should flash 3 times for no more honk or once and honk for no more lights only. Doing this again returns it to the previous state. At least I think that's how it goes.

when you hold the "lock" and "unlock" buttons the lights will flash for 3 seconds but what it does it turns off the lights on unlock and turns the horn off on lock.

Yeah, I wish the windows down feature was part of the 5.0 gens, but it's not. My dad's 02 I35, on the other hand...

+Infiniti! My dad kept trying to get me to program his garage door opener... I was like "No. Read the manual and take 1 minute to follow the instructions." 3 months later he finally did it... 4 years after he first bought the car...

I have it on the 4th gen...and its great on the hot summer days to cool the car before you get in it. Great feature IMO...too bad you 5.0 gens dont have it.

Also is there anyway to get the 4th gen FOB to honk when you lock the car?

Might want to try the 4th gen forum AFAIK, there is not a way to do that. Aside from wiring it yourself.

i like how it goes down but what nissan shouldve done is when you hold the lock button the fronts go back up. My dad has it on his benz and all four roll down and roll back up with the key/remote.
