Buying New Front Bumper

Ok, so the other night I was out to eat with some friends and I came out to my car and there was a small hole in my front bumper. Someone backed into the car and just left. I am at work so I can't take pictures, but the hole is probably 1". I was thinking of getting a new front bumper, but I was unsure about which one to buy. On the website I was looking at they have two different front bumper covers. What is the difference between a CAPA certified part and a non CAPA part?

CAPA certified has a higher standard when it comes to FITMENT. Most of the time the non CAPA bumpers are fine but if you need the best get the CAPA. Good luck!

Call up a few dealers to see what kind of price you can get, then ask for discount.Thats if youre picky about fit.

talk to a body shop...they can get a good one (OEM) for cheaper than you would be able to

Dave B's price on a shipped OEM bumper was cheaper than any body shop or dealer locally picked up when I was searching. Food for thought.

It was for a rear bumper. $188 + 25 shipping. Places around here were $240ish. Haven't got a clue what the front OEM costs.

Wrong. The certified bumpers are made of a better material. They don't crack as easily.
