OK I've had it! Please help me

For over a year now, I keep getting the diagnostic code of P0720 (Speed Sensor) but I've scanned the internet tirelessly to find a diagram of where it's located or any other general help with it but I get nothing!

Can someone please tell me or show me a diagram where this part is located so I can get it replaced. I keep hearing how the dealership will rape you with charges and I'm barely getting by right now, so I'd liek to replace it myself if possible. Thank you to whoever can help me!

Speed sensor is typically the sensor on the transmission telling the speedo how fast your going. Of course an auto is going to have quite a few sensors.

Remove revolution sensor from A/T.

@ tmaculate1 - did changing the speed sensor resolve the "Service Engine Soon" light?

My light has recently turned on and went to Discount Auto to get DTC Code - P0720. Nissan told me I could order the sensor for nearly $50, but also mentioned to get second opinion as it could be a number of things including/besides the sensor.

Any tips you can give me to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

does the speedometer still work?

if it does then the speed sensor isnt bad its probably just abreak in the line.

i dont know much about 5th gen maximas but i know a lot of cars split the signal to the cluster and ecu; some go through the ecu to the cluster; if its like the first examle then its probably just a broken wire somewhere
