Progress w/ Illuminas - anyone have that?

I haven't seen much talk about people using Progress springs with Illuminas. Anyone using that setup? Thoughts? Should I dump the Progress and look for something else when I get my Illuminas?

I've had this setup for about 50K miles...love it.

I recently installed that setup and so far so good.

LeX used to have it in his ride. Illuminas set to 3...very nice ride and stance.

I'm thinking of getting a set of Progress' for the front to even out the H&Rs.

I bought the set from Lex and I love it.

I had that set up for a year and i love it also. anything else that should be used is coilovers, forget the rest

Housecor had that setup before he switched to H&R fronts. Might ask him for some info, or check his site out...

i currently have had that set up for 10k miles now and I love it, the car looks and rides great

don't get tokico blues. i hate them with my progress. i'm either switching to illums or going to coilovers...

MyownNismo 07-25-2007 05:27 PM

I got them too. I like the setup. I run 2 front 3 back.

I have Progress/Illuminas as do many others, so look around for more discussions on this. My settings are 3 F 4 R. Don't bother using HP/Blues with them because they will be under dampened. I've been happy with the balance between ride and handling they offer for the time I've had them (I tried H-techs and those did ride better, but don't handle as well).

Thanks for all the replies. How long should it take for the Progress to settle and even out?

OOmaxSE 07-26-2007 09:54 AM

After two weeks you should be fine. I have this set up and it's comfy and handles pretty well. Even at 5/5 it's very tolerable.
