Driver's side window won't close

I have a 2002 Max. Left my car with all windows open in my garage over the weekend. Got into my car this morning, pulled out, and noticed that my driver's side window would not close at all. Anyone know what might possibly cause this?

is it slipping in its tracks on one side causing it to be uneven... thats happening on my car right now to the driverside and passenger side doors. every once and a while i have to pull up on the glass to straighten it out and it will go up again. hope that helps

try pulling up on the glass as rmh3093 has said, also, grease the sliders where the window goes up and down so it is easier for the motor to do its job, otherwise you're at rist of motor premature failure.

Thank you for the suggestions. I never noticed it sliding up or down unevenly but I'll try putting some WD40 in there tonight. The entire glass in beneath the window sill and there's nothing for me to tug on.

you might have to take the door panel apart

Man another front power window issue! What is up with this from Nissan? My passenger side window takes forever to roll up! I have used seafoam and everything possible to lube up the tracks! It only lasts for a day or so and then it takes forever to roll up the windows! Good luck with that!

My rear driver side window dont work ...... i started the car and the window went down on its own, i was like wtf.... it never went back up, the motor was cooked and i had to rip apart the gear in the motor to get the window to go up and i used a screw jammed in the gear to hold it up intill i get a new motor.....

I started to pull apart my door panel last night but I chickened out. I heard the electric switches when I pressed the window down button so I suspect it to be the window motor. I just ordered a window motor and regulator from car-part.com and BlackBirdVQ is going to help me install it. I'll update this thread once the issue is resolved.

I had the same **** with my drivers window. Went down and wouldnt go up.
The first time I hit the connectors from the motor with some juice. The 2nd time this happened I hit the electric window motor with the butt-end of a screwdriver while holding the window-up button. I believe its a bad power window motor, essentially has a "dead-spot" when the window is all the way down. I haven't replaced the motor yet so I just leave the window slightly up and haven't had any problems so far.

Whats price on new power window motor???

Weird, the window issue magically went away! Now, I'm stuck with an extra window motor and regulator.

i would still hang on to that motor you might need it soon. sounds like it cooled down and now works but might fail soon.
