I wanted to know if PIAA H4 Plasma Blue or Xtreme White are brighter then the factory bulbs. I want to get new bulbs but don't want do lose quality.

Also which do you like more, the Plasma Blue or Xtreme White

I have the H4's in my Maxima and they are definately brighter and whiter compared to the oem ones. It actually makes the oem bulbs look yellow. Get the Xtreme Whites.

I haven't seen the Plasma Blues, but I have the xtreme whites (H4 & H3) and they are really white compared to stock. I like them and they are not exactly brighter but the white light illuminates better than the yellow stock bulbs.

Will they fry my wiring or harness?

Most people have recommended Xtreme Whites, a few said that plasma blues are dimmer than the stock bulbs (what you get for the purplish light i guess)

Okay thanks. That's what I thought. But there are some bulbs that say 55/60 and then another wattage also on the package. What does the higher wattage mean?

just like the PIAA's.. they are 55/60. when there are two numbers, the first one is what watts they draw out, and the second number is the watts they produce.. so 55/60 will look like 100/110watts.. like the PIAA Xtreme Whites

Most local performance shops should stock the PIAAs and the H4s should run you approx. $75 for a pair. The H3s are approx. $24/each. I'm getting mine installed on Wednesday.
Anyone know what wattage the H3 need to be? (55 or 85)

55 just like the H4s.

for an alternative to PIAAs, look at Raybrigs... They cost about as much as PIAAs and are just as good in terms of quality. I have a set of White Thunder H4's and they are great bulbs.... www.raybrig.bigstep.com has them at decent prices...

Don't buy PIAA's.
If you want your bulbs to last don't get them.
If you want to get the same color as piaa plasma but in a better bulb that is 1/2 the cost get Catz Zeta 00 bulbs.
For more info on these try www.jotech.com
they do great pricing.
