There's all this hoopla about Random cats but why not just do a straight pipe instead? Had anyone done this yet? I'm sure that it would be 10x better than having a random cat.

I got a strait pipe, i love it. I may be wrong but my car feels faster on the top end than a 2k2. It makes the car sound good too.

many opinions on this one and from my experience owning an RT cat and a straight pipe the RT is better if u have an automagic! the straight pipe leaves the car with no back pressure and back pressure = torque so in the auto since we cant drop the clutch it hurts u off the line but the high end is amazing i switched back to the RT cat bc i got better launches off the line and if DOT catches u it is a min fine of $2500 so i said i will stay legal on that end! if u want to risk it and have a 5-speed go for it big diff! autos dont unless u have a TC!
