He's getting the auto ...

Car & Driver has manual (he's getting auto) doing 0-60 in 5.7 seconds

Motor Trend has 6.58 seconds for the same 0-60 ..

Who's right?

That's a huge difference!!!

He's getting auto .. so is half a second on top of the manual tranny speeds a reasonable time?

Anyways ... this'll be fun when it happens .. more likely sometime in the spring ...

Just don't race him from a dead stop. Start on a roll in 2nd or 3rd at around 4K rpm or a lil higher.

0-60 I think he has got you with a time of 6.1 seconds for the auto. This car has 282 hp and a huge 324 ft lbs of torque. Here is what will be funny: Race him on the highway and watch the look on his face when you blow by him at 128mph when he hits his speed limiter!!!!!

I thought they were capable of going 155mph.

My mom has a brand-new 540 (auto w/o sport package). That car seems to have power at all ranges. From a seat of the pants perspective, I would have to concede that it is probably significantly quicker than my stock Max. But remember, he's paying over twice the amount for his ride!
