where to purchase a new OEM steering wheel?

specifically, im looking for an OEM steering wheel off a 5.5 gen that has the heating element. the leather on mine is scratched pretty badly and would like to replace it.

you have to keep searching ebay....there was one last week that sold, it was from a infiniti I35.. they show up every once in a while. almost always they will sell you one without the airbag, you have to use the one you already have in your GLE... professional installation is prolly recommended. I had a hyundai ( yes a hyundai) that the whole SRS system had to be reset at a dealer or NONE of the 4 airbags would work at all....and my SRS light was always on.. it cost me $150 .. not sure how the Maxima works.

Learn to live with it..... it will cost you big bucks...$$$$$$ I wanted to replace mine .. same problem with the leather and after I saw the prices I said No Way Jose..>!!!

Why not have an upholstery shop recover it with new dead cow?

Either that or live with it until one pops up in the 5th gen For sale/Wanted forum.

yah if all ur worried about is the scratched up leather, get it reupholstered. Probably a hell of alot cheaper

look in the classifieds, many guys, like myself are parting their cars. I am parting a 2000 with black leather SE and a 2003 with gray leather heated steering wheel. LMK if interested.

recoveringit would be cheaper and easier than getting a new one (air bag, controls, etc)
