Squealing/Grinding Sound When Turning Left

I get a high pitched but dull squealing sound when I turn the steering wheel to the left, even slightly.

This only occurs when I turn to the left.

I don't think it's the brakes as stepping on the brakes when turning doesn't seem to effect the sound.

The sound seems to be present at high and low speeds at the same volume.

I've recently had a dropped suspension installed.

Any opinions on what this may be and the severiety of it?

It could be your wheel bearing.
Raise your front end up
Do this on both sides: Grab the wheel at the top and bottom then try to pull it and push it if theres play then you bearings are bad

thanks, thought as much...

so, probably a wheel on the passenger side.

i'll do the loose wheel test - this test should work for both the front and rear wheel right?

Yes, but the issue is most likely in the front they are common issue's with maxima's. I don't recall anybody ever really having a problem with wheel bearings on the rear.
